However, in a publicity stunt gone awry, they had to pull off the post and cancel the competition all at once, for the simple reason that the general age pattern of the majority of the band’s fans and followers, do not even qualify for the minimum age that is necessitated in order to get a tattoo. Thus, much to the band’s disappointment, due to sheer pressure of the law extending their hand, they had to cancel the competition.

Had it been pulled off with a fair amount of success, it would have been one of the most ingenious stunts that have ever been pulled for the simple goal of attaining popularity. A spokesperson of the band stated that the post had been posted in error, and thus has been now removed and that everything stated in the post was false and a complete hoax. In the bleak shores of Gulf Shores, situated in Alabama, USA, a major decision has laid the lives of several body artists and other tattoo craftsmen in a wild state of confusion. The City Council, during the tenure of last week’s session has very responsibly “forgotten” to discuss the agenda of the allocation of land and area to tattoo shops and other such ventures. This move, at the same time has also allowed the city’s Planning Staff to mobilize some more time for the consideration of bringing within this decision’s jurisdiction, other shops of a similar nature, such as pawn shops and cash lending services, rather businesses. In this way, the purposeful delay of the City Council is only to bring other immoral and possibly illegal businesses within the ambit of its restrictions. Thus, within the range of this time period, no new tattoo businesses can be set up in any part of the city. What is more, other Baldwin county cities such as Orange Beach, Fairhope and Spanish Fort and Daphne have also issued similar memorandums to take stringent steps and necessary action against the setting up of such body art shops and pawning activities.

North bend bans tattoo parlors

Deep in the realms of North Bend, Washington, a recently passed ordinance has wrecked the plans and wishes of one individual in particular, but through him a whole community has been undermined. The ordinance that has been passed, earlier allowed the construction of tattoo parlors and such other businesses, not in the immediate vicinity of the commercial zone of the city, but in an employment park zone in the easternmost edge of the city. North Bend Planning Council did have in mind to allow the activities of one David Herman, who sought to open a tattoo parlor in the city’s commercial zone.

Herman was seeking to advantage of a loophole in the law that propounded that although tattoo businesses would not be allowed in the premises of the commercial zones, home based businesses. Herman bought a shop and an apartment above, thus converting his so called illegal business into a legal and credible one. However, the City Council at the last moment did not give their approval of the project, and denied him permission to materialize his plans by issuing an emergency ordinance, that validated the actions of the City Council.

North Bend’s planning and development director Gina Estep, admittedly reported that she did discuss all the disadvantages and problems that Herman might face, if he did go forward with his desired plans. She also told the press that she had held meetings with Herman about other construction related problems, regulations and so on and only then did she inform the City Council as to his proposed venture. The attorney did indicate that Herman’s venture being a home business, it could not be termed as illegal in any way, nor could it be stopped by the power vested in the law.

The catch in the plan was when City Administrator Londi Lindell advocated that tattoo parlors, adult entertainments and such types of businesses, were “sensitive” and grey area zones when it came to constitutional settlement. Therefore, in a revision of the previous ordinance, the City Council prohibited David Herman from building his shop, and led to a dramatic chain of events. Other allegations were leveled against him as to the plans not meeting the space requirements, the space limitation of home businesses being no more than 500 sq. ft. This, and everything else, has led to the case being adjourned for a period of 60 days. The ordinance will be laid for review, and further outcomes are still to be known.

Village board repeals tattoo ban

The village of Caledonia recently witnessed official cancellation of an ordinance that led to the official ban of all tattoo establishments in the area. Tattoos are quite in trend these days but the village board had passed an ordinance that imposed an effective ban on every tattoo establishment. This Monday the Caledonia Village board sat again and voted in the favor of repealing the ordinance. This lifting of the official ban is due to the continuous efforts of one person and that is Eve Thielen. Some of the people believe that this decision will result in even less folks opting for traditional tattoos.

Eve Thielen happens to be the owner of a tanning spa in the area which is known as Vacation tanning spa. She has extended an offer to provide services such as cosmetic micro pigmentation plus tattoo removal to the people. According to Eve Thielen she will have all the things required by the coming summer and can extend these facilities by then. One of the new services extended by Eve is tattoo removal and other than that her spa will also extend the facility of micro pigmentation. Cosmetic micro pigmentation is the process in which the process of tattoo making is utilized to apply permanent makeup.

 

This makeup can be like applying eye liner for life and similar things. Eve Thielen said that she is in need of a supplement source of income as the tanning place is not doing well as it used to. Rihanna Gets Inked to offer Support to Boyfriend Chris Brown

Rihanna might be one of the most famous pop stars of the present generation but she’s just another hopeless romantic when it comes to the matters of the heart. The 24 year singer recently got a new tattoo on her body to proclaim her support for Grammy-award winning singer, Chris Brown.

According to reports from various media sources, the ‘Diamonds’ singer has got a tattoo stating Brown’s nickname ‘Breezy’ on her skin to cherish her on and off rapper boyfriend. Brown is famous for labeling his rabid army of fans as Team Breezy.

Love in a Hopeless Place

The Sun newspaper quoted a source close to the situation as stating that Rihanna got the tattoo to show the world that she is still deeply committed to him. Now that all of their fans are aware that the couple is back together, the two have made up their minds to make the relationship work at any cost.

The couple had earlier called it quits back in the year 2009 after Rihanna was violently assaulted by Brown. The two young musicians were famous for their notoriously passionate and carefree relationship. But after the physical attack, Rihanna had a restraining order drawn up against Brown who was not allowed to come within a certain distance of her. Rihanna already boasts of 20 different tattoos on various parts of her body. She considers each of them to have some sort of special significance.  The Bajan hottie last got an ink depicting Isis, one of the most famous goddesses of the Egyptian mythological pantheon, renowned as the symbol of the wife and mother. The tattoo was supposed to have been a tribute to Clara ‘Dolly’ Braithwaite, her late grandmother. Romney-Ryan Tattooed Indiana Man Removing It

During “The United States presidential election of 2012” Paul Ryan stood against Mitt Romney for the presidential post, both belonged to the Republican Party.

During this United States presidential election 2012 a northern Indiana man – Mr. Eric Hartsburg from the City of Michigan got into the news for getting a Red-And-Blue “R” campaign tattoo beside his right eye. According to him some supporter of The Republican Party paid him $ 15000 for getting the 5-by-2-inch Romney-Ryan political Tattoo and asked him to keep it at least till the elections is not over. However, after the elections are over he wants to get the tattoo removed.

Why He Decided to Remove the Tattoo?

Eric Hartsburg told Politico that he took the decision after he heard about Mitt Romney’s post election antics and felt ashamed when Mitt Romney claimed that President Barrack Obama bought the votes and paid the voters to win the elections. In an interview with Huff Post Live he also said that he felt insulted when no campaign staffer contacted him in spite of him being a part of the Romney- Ryan campaign directly or indirectly. However, if anyone of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan would have contacted him through even phone or e-mail he would have never thought of removing the tattoo. He also informed the press that next year he would be running for the Mayor post of Michigan City.

The Tattoo Removal Process

As per some sourced Dr. TATTOFF sent him a proposal to get the tattoo removed free of cost. Initially, Hartsburg refused the proposal. However, now the removal fees of about $ 1000 will be paid off by Dr. TATTOFF.

Now, Eric Hartsburg will fly to Los Angeles to get consultation for the tattoo removal from Mr. Kirby and the removal process may take up to a year as it is very difficult to remove the blue color. As per Kirby to remove the tattoo about 10 sessions would be needed and after every session at least 8 weeks are required for the skin to heal. Also the removal is very painful. So, Kirby has given a free advice to everyone to get tattoos in black color as it is easy to remove the same.

After all the insult, pain and feeling ashamed, Eric Hartsburg admits that after the removal is over he will once again keep the place for sale but will be very careful in choosing the candidate the next time.

 

Man pleads in illegal tattooing case

A man from McAlester has been charged as he offered his tattoo services to a police officer.  The man was arrested in November after making two strikes which involved offering his tattoo services to an undercover police officer.  The police office namely Max Clark has filed a complaint against the culprit for the same issue. The main issue in this case was that the main culprit possessed the necessary tattoo equipments without any viable license for the same.

Pleaded guilty

 When the culprit, Joshua Lee was presented in front of the jury, he pleaded guilty. The Pittsburg county court has held hi9m responsible for unlawful tattooing and offering the services without any license.  Both the judgment as well as sentencing has been deferred for a period of one year during which the guilty was also fined $575.

Second attempt

Joshua was first arrested in the month of November while trying to bribe a police officer with his tattoo. This came as a second strike for which he was presented in front of court. Two undercover police officers have been following him for a long time and wanted him to get caught red handed. The officer were also sure that Ross was behind the operation of unauthorized tattoo parlor in the proximity. This was the main motive behind the covert operation. According to the latest statement given by the police department, there were more than 50 unauthorized tattoo parlors running the proximity and adverse steps had to be taken to shut them down.

Statements from officers

According to the statements made by police officers, Ross invited them cordially into his parlor for getting the tattoo. The two undercover cops Clark and Shawn went to his home to follow up an important lead in the case. Their constant surveillance of Joshua proved to be successful as they were able to burst out the unauthorized racket. The police officer also stated that the dining room area of the culprits house was full of tattoo equipments for which he did not have any license. The house of Joshua at Macalister has also been sealed and police are looking into the matter. With a number of cases rising from this area, the police have become more cautious. The police officer also presented the copy of original tattoo that they were offered by Joshua. The police department arrested but later realized him on $1500 bail bonds. The equipments and tattoo guns were also presented in front of the court as evidence.
