Gulf shores restrictions

In the bleak shores of Gulf Shores, situated in Alabama, USA, a major decision has laid the lives of several body artists and other tattoo craftsmen in a wild state of confusion. The City Council, during the tenure of last week’s session has very responsibly “forgotten” to discuss the agenda of the allocation of land and area to tattoo shops and other such ventures. This move, at the same time has also allowed the city’s Planning Staff to mobilize some more time for the consideration of bringing within this decision’s jurisdiction, other shops of a similar nature, such as pawn shops and cash lending services, rather businesses. In this way, the purposeful delay of the City Council is only to bring other immoral and possibly illegal businesses within the ambit of its restrictions. The city’s Mayor, Robert Craft has admittedly commented on the topic, that there is talk going on for the differentiation of such shops from the to and fro of other places of businesses and work. Since these works are of a different nature, there is a very serious, necessity to compartmentalize such businesses, so as to keep the collateral effects of such places of business away from the hustle and bustle of other places of public inhabitation.

In addition to all of these restrictions, there has been further insult to injury on the part of the City Council. The new regulations that are soon to follow will compel the tattoo businesses, not to operate within the vicinity of less than 1000 feet of other businesses of a similar nature. Moreover, the minimum distance that has to be maintained, when it comes to constructing such places of business within the radar of public institutions such as schools, colleges or parks, is not to be less than 500 feet, at the very minimum.

However, it’s a bonanza, as the City Council hurls insult after insult at the body art industry. With the new decisions passed, there has been a restriction passed on the issuing of new licenses, for at least a period of 120 days. Thus, within the range of this time period, no new tattoo businesses can be set up in any part of the city. What is more, other Baldwin county cities such as Orange Beach, Fairhope and Spanish Fort and Daphne have also issued similar memorandums to take stringent steps and necessary action against the setting up of such body art shops and pawning activities.

Insights shared at Venezuela tattoo expo

Tattoos have different meaning for everyone. Some people consider them as odd and waste of time but some other people regard them as a medium to display their love for alternative art. For the latter group of people there are tattoo expos that are held each year at various places across the world. Some people truly devote themselves to the exciting and unique world of tattoos and begin to lead a life that has an appearance of their own choice. Tattoos can be made in every possible shape, size and design and people keep trying new techniques to make them more unique than they already are.

The tattoo expo held at Venezuela is one of the popular tattoo expos and it happens to be an annual event. The Venezuela tattoo expo 2013 was a four day event and it began on January 23, 2013 and ended on January 27, 2013. This was the third event in a row and it displayed some extreme tattoos plus body art that left the people speechless. Not only did the convention ha unique body art and tattoos but it also had implants and piercing. The people who love tattoos and body art will find this tattoo expo like a paradise.

The people who indulge in tattoos do it mostly for fun but there are some people who have valid reasons for all the tattoos they have. This year’s tattoo expo at Venezuela was a success and had a lot of unique art at display. Matt Gone who hails from the United States is also addressed by the name of ‘human check board’ and this name is an outcome of all the tattoos and body art he has on his body. Matt has almost all his body covered in body art and tattoos and he has some very rational reasons for them.

He told that he has many birth defects on his body which he did not want people to see and treat him differently and that is why he took the aid of tattoos to hide those defects. The ‘vampire woman’ whose real name is Maria and she belongs to Mexico considers her tattoos as a nice form of expressing herself. Many other tattoo lovers attended this amazing event to get a look at some great art. The event also included tattoo workshops, some fashion shows and concerts to entertain the audience.

Man pleads in illegal tattooing case

A man from McAlester has been charged as he offered his tattoo services to a police officer.  The man was arrested in November after making two strikes which involved offering his tattoo services to an undercover police officer.  The police office namely Max Clark has filed a complaint against the culprit for the same issue. The main issue in this case was that the main culprit possessed the necessary tattoo equipments without any viable license for the same.

Pleaded guilty

When the culprit, Joshua Lee was presented in front of the jury, he pleaded guilty. The Pittsburg county court has held hi9m responsible for unlawful tattooing and offering the services without any license.  Both the judgment as well as sentencing has been deferred for a period of one year during which the guilty was also fined $575.

Second attempt

Joshua was first arrested in the month of November while trying to bribe a police officer with his tattoo. This came as a second strike for which he was presented in front of court. Two undercover police officers have been following him for a long time and wanted him to get caught red handed. The officer were also sure that Ross was behind the operation of unauthorized tattoo parlor in the proximity. This was the main motive behind the covert operation. According to the latest statement given by the police department, there were more than 50 unauthorized tattoo parlors running the proximity and adverse steps had to be taken to shut them down.

Statements from officers

According to the statements made by police officers, Ross invited them cordially into his parlor for getting the tattoo. The two undercover cops Clark and Shawn went to his home to follow up an important lead in the case. Their constant surveillance of Joshua proved to be successful as they were able to burst out the unauthorized racket. The police officer also stated that the dining room area of the culprits house was full of tattoo equipments for which he did not have any license. The house of Joshua at Macalister has also been sealed and police are looking into the matter. With a number of cases rising from this area, the police have become more cautious. The police officer also presented the copy of original tattoo that they were offered by Joshua. The police department arrested but later realized him on $1500 bail bonds. The equipments and tattoo guns were also presented in front of the court as evidence.
